Dear Parents, -
As you might all know, since 2005 the state of Florida offers a Voluntary Pre-kindergarten Program (VPK) and we are an approved provider. -
Your child is eligible to benefit from this governmental plan and we would like to assure that you get a place in our program. Registration will begin on Monday, March 1, 2010 for the school year 2010 – 2011. -
VIP Program will remain the same during the morning hours. Our Curriculum includes Literacy, Science, Numeracy, Information and Technology, Geography, History, Art, Drama, Music, Social Skills, Physical Education and Health. (With one extracurricular activity included) -
During VPK hours, the program will be enriched with our variety of activities in the different developmental areas but with a stronger orientation to Early Literacy, Math and Science. The afternoon program will continue to be in connection to the morning curriculum. -
VPK at VIP will be an excellent program that will help your child to be ready for school success, and in combination with our morning program will assure that your child will have the benefit of an extraordinary educational program and will have access to all celebrations, field trips, special activities like our wonderful assemblies and drama course, our Art curriculum in the mornings, the Music program and so many other fantastic things that are done during the day and guarantee that your child will be learning skills for life while having fun! VPK FACTS: - Child must be four years old on or before September 1st, 2010.

Eligible children must reside in Florida -
Registration must be done through early learning coalitions ELC (See information below). -
Hard copy applications must be submitted to school to save your spot. -
You need to provide Proof of residency and child’s date of birth when registering. -
There are two programs available * School Year Program = 540 instructional hours beginning fall 2010 * Summer Program = 300 instructional hours beginning summer 2010 -
Providers are responsible for organizing their own calendar and schedules as long as they provide the amount of hours set in the program chosen. -
Curriculum MUST be developmentally appropriate and focus on early literacy skills. -
Curriculum should prepare the child to be ready for kindergarten based on standards adopted by the State Board of Education -
